General Booking Conditions

-Pickup from your hotel located in Chiang Mai City is free but If your hotel is outside the city then we would require at least 200 B./person (depends on distance)

-If you was to Cancel your tour on the departure day then you would loose money, We charge 100% of the moneys paid for this and 50% if you was to cancel 2 days before your tour date, so please bare this in mind.

-We reserve the right to cancel or re-book your reservation in the event of any natural, political, or other unforeseen act over which we have no control.

-Visitors at our project will be in close contact with elephants, and as wild animals can be unpredictable and dangerous, thus there may be some risk involved. In order to increase your safety all visitors must agree to the following:

Follow your guide and policy of the park seriously.
Do not approach elephants without a guide/mahout present
Do not put hands into an elephant’s mouth
Do not approach elephants from behind
Do not smoke and drink algohol in/near elephant shelters, near elephant food, in the dining areas.
Visits to the park are entirely at the visitors own risk. You are required to have your own insurance policy to cover emergency or health treatment.
We will not be held responsible for any loss or damage to Visitors/Volunteers or their property, and damages cannot be claimed in any eventuality.

All media recordings (e.g. photographs, audio, video) taken at Bamboo Elephant Family Care remains the commercial property of Bamboo Elephant Family Care , and any distribution or resale of such recordings require the written consent from Bamboo Elephant Family Care.

-All visitors to Bamboo Elephant Family Care accept that they are solely responsible for their own health, safety and belongings and that they fully understand and accept the conditions outlined above.
